A busy but humdrum weekend

This is the first weekend after the Oral Presentation and the Comprehension Test 2. I hoped to have a relaxing and interesting weekend, but things did not go as I wanted.
On Friday, after the math and basic c program class, we should have gone back to Eton and had a rest. However, this time, we went back, but did not rest. The first IT Show of 2011 was held in Suntec City, so we got on the way again. Before we came to Singapore, we had heard about IT Show, where the electronic products were really cheap. Therefore, we really looked forward to buying something cheap and with good quality. Nevertheless, we were shocked as soon as we arrived at the Suntec City. It was so crowded that where was even no place to have a rest. In addition, the voice from the microphone was too loud that it did harm to our ears. Although products were cheap there, it did not reach my expectation. I bought a portable hard drive which was cheaper than usual time, but it still cost me a large sum of money. Nearly 4 hours later, we went back. I felt tired and not satisfied with this trip.
Saturday was another busy day. It was the first day of NUS Open House, so I got up early and went to NUS. I visited several majors, Statistics and Chemistry in Science, Industrial System, Civil and Environment, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical in Engineering, to ask the details about the courses and majors, according to which I would decide what I would study in the next few years. However, the answer I got did not help me a lot; I still confused about the major. The only thing I got from the seniors and the professors was that all the courses were easy and interesting and all the majors had good quality; nothing more except this. The half day’s effort seemed useless.
Sunday was the most boring day. I spent the whole day in my dormitory, surfing the internet, eating lunch, watching movies, doing homework and eating dinner; neither interesting, nor exciting.
This was my weekend, busy but humdrum. I really did not like it. Next weekend will be the start of recess week. I am looking forward to it. I hope that it can be a wonderful weekend.
