Michal Jackson withdrawal his encouragement

    As one of the most famous stars in the world, Michal Jackson could receive thousands of letters from all over the world. Usually, Michal would deliver them to his assistant. However, there is one letter that drew his attention.

    “Dear Mr. Jackson, my son has treated you as his idol even since he was a little child, and he will take the college entrance examination this year. At the same time he refused to go to university because he has a dream of employing himself in show biz. He loves singing since he was a young, and he always imitates your steps to practice so that he can become a super star like you one day. It has been told that you will come to Taipei to start a vocal concert. So I hope you can take some time off to give him some advices. I will appreciate it if you really can come.

   That was the first time that Michal took up his pen to write back a letter, to an unfamiliar fan. “Thanks for your adoration, and I will arrive in Taipei three months later. If you are free then, please contact with my assistant. I am sure he will grantee two seats for you.

   Three months passed, the vocal concert was staged successfully and his dance made audience excited. In the break after the performance, Michal at a call from his assistant saying that there are two guests calling him.

   The mother brought his child to Michal’s room, “I just hope you can listen to my son’s singing and give him some advices, which will influence him forever.” Michal nodded smilingly. The boy sang a English song, then impersonated Michal dancing for a while. Michal signed. But in the mother’s expecting eyes, he said “pretty good, need more practice. And you are very promising.” The mother and the boy left happily.

   Ten years later, that is, half a year after Michal’s death, the mother was invited a television show in Taipei. The master of ceremonies asked her “it was told that your son had been taught by Michal, so how was his singing career now?”

  “Oh, he is a software engineer.” The mother answered.

Maybe the words I said today will hurt your son, but I think if I cheat him, he will walk far and far in the wrong path. So today I withdrawal my encouragement, this may hurt you. But I will be secure.”
