A Dangerous Experience

It was a hot but beautiful day of the summer vacation when I was about ten. I was eating the ice-cream and wondering if I should watch TV or play computer games with my friends. Suddenly my mother came in my room and told me "would you like join me to have a picnic on the riverside and swim with my colleagues" As a small boy, going to swim in cool water in the hot afternoon was so attractive that I agreed on it immediately.

There were about twenty persons in our group and we took lots of food including several watermelons, beer, vegetable, beef, and some fish. We got the picnic table ready where there was bower. I began to play cards because I felt a little tired and did not want to swim, however, some jumped into the cool water and others already began to eat. After a while, noticing almost all the people having been into the river I thought it was my turn. I walked into the river slowly with a life buoy. Because I was not able to swim so two uncles near me for assistance and safety.

About three hours passed, we all sat at the bank of river and chatted with each other. At this time, we heard a scream from the place not far. Then uncle Wang realized that there must be someone in trouble and he run there immediately. To our surprise, there was a woman who was drowned and it was very dangerous. Uncle Wang jumped into the water without hesitate and grabbed her hair. He tried his best to help her out of the water. Finally they both got onto the shore. Then Wang returned and noticed that his feet were broken badly and they were both sent to the hospital.

I think we should help others whenever we come across it and we will get emotional reward.
