People come and people go. One fact we can never deny is that there are always something under our control.
The day when I was told about my grandfather’s death, I just cannot make it through. At that time, I was only 13 years old. But even today, I still remember the way he walked, the tone he spoke, and the look he smiled. The big tree now stands in front of our garden----I guess I am not the only one who miss him so much. But sometimes, we cannot live in the past; we have to move on…
Yes, life is always unpredictable. Life has a way of throwing these balls at us. The family’s main bread-winner suddenly passes away. A child finds new love and loyalty through marriage. No matter how perfect your organizational skills are, there will always be life-influencing factors over which you have no control.
Then, my friend’s words occurred to me,’ if you are afraid that the love is unlikely lasting forever, thus you hesitate to keep it, then what will be the meaning of love?’ We indeed may lose people we love someday, but it does not mean we have to bend down and focus on negative sides! We still own today; we still have this moment--- what is the most important thing is that we still have our breath to move on. Nothing can deprive our opportunity of making use of every minute to treasure our life and our dream.
I will still miss people who pass by my life. Anyway, I move on then. Since we are young, our greatest fortune is to stand up again and again after falling down.
Laugh or cry as we like; life is too short to oppress ourselves.
Treasure today. Treasure this moment.
