When it comes to a life with a dog, most of us may think that we can enjoy simple joy of walking side by side with our own dog out in the fresh air and throwing a stick. However, in the movie “Marley and Me”, the family cannot enjoy such a life because the dog, Marley, has too much energy.
Marley can hardly be quiet, running and eating all the time. Every time Grogan, the protagonist, walked Marley, he can only run after him. Furthermore, it has once eaten an answering machine and a necklace. Nevertheless, it is Marley that brings lots of laughter and happiness to the family. The dog is also the inspiration of Grogan’s columns. What impressed me most is that Grogan described Marley as a fighter at the end of the movie. Marley is a real fighter who guards the family. When the son, Conor, had colic, the dog sat up all night and did not move. It just stayed right there for nine hours, keeping an eye on him.
The love between Marley and the family touched me a lot and reminded me of a lovely dog as well. I named the dog Xiaohei because its fur was totally black. It was energetic and friendly. When I first saw Xiaohei, it did not bark at me but kept wagging the tail. Every time I came back home, it would happily run to me and lick my shoes. It was really like a friend of mine. I still remember that once I cried, Xiaohei just sat by me and looked at me. It kept quiet and licked my feet softly the whole afternoon. What moved me a lot was that when I rode to the school, Xiaohei would follow me till I got to the gate.
However, to our sorrow, Xiaohei disappeared one day. We have been looking for it until my mother found it in a river. It is said Xiaohei was killed by a man who sold the meat of dogs. We were quite upset and angry. Finally, we buried its clothes and blanket to memorize it.
Since dogs are the most loyal animal friends of human beings, please treat them kindly.
I also like dogs much. It is such a pity that dogs usually leave us early. Why? Shorter lifespan? Or ...? Treat them better. Time is limited. Also, your families and friends...
