Mr. Bennet

Among all the characters in” Pride and Prejudice”, my favorite one is Mr Bennet. Mr. Bennet has a wife and five daughters, and seems to have accustomed himself to his fate. He dislikes the indecorous behaviors of his wife and three younger daughters. Though Mr. Bennet is not that responsible to his family, he really likes his daughters. He warns Elizabeth that she should not marry someone she doesn’t care for or respect, and he really does make an effort to secure his daughters’ futures. His sense of humor and his ability to make light of awful situations really impressed me. “Your mother insists upon you marrying Mr. Collins. From this day onward, you must be a stranger to one of your parents. Your mother will never see you again if you do not marry Mr. Collins, and I will never see you again if you do.” He shows his support to his daughter and show his protest to his wife wisely.
