Before the learning journey, I wondered what we would see in the national museum and what we would learn in the arts museum. At that time, I thought that there must be some famous abstract painting like Mona Lisa executed by Leonardo da Vinci and others.
After our progress test, we were all eager to have a rest in the journey, which turned out to be a more stressful experience, just in my opinion. Perhaps I just cannot understand that kind of arts. Moreover, I think some of the artworks are extreme, making me sad about the world. I knew they just want me to realize the true world. However, I just cannot stand it. For this reason, I even had a headache during the journey due to some terrible paintings.
Although I really did not like this journey as a whole, there is still some impressive artwork which told me a lot about the world.
The most impressive one is the painting in the national museum, which shows a person whose body was divided into three parts. And his face expression shows that he was tortured by something. I did not understand the meaning before I read the background of the picture, which says that the painting was drawn during the recession. I realized that it showed the person’s personality was split by the recession.
