Forest Gump
Gump was in Jenny's dormitory and Jenny asked him "Do you have dreamed about who are you going to be?" Gump was in doubt for a while and said "aren't I going to be me?" Jenny said she wanted to be famous, and she wanted to be a singer like Joan Baez. Gump did not understand and he just wanted to be himself.
This sense touched my heart. Although Gump was a idiot, he knew what he really needed. Being famous and making money are not important for him at all. What is important is being yourself. What make us deserve other people's respect? Career, Social status, or property? If so, we will become accessory of these things. I should be myself and all I dream is being myself.
A normal person has the ability for choosing and he knows what is important. A normal person has many choices, so he is always waiting for the next one which he thinks is the best. A normal person does not concentrate on what he thinks is useless. However, Gump is not a normal person unluckily. His intelligence quotient is low. His girlfriend, joining school football team and army, playing table tennis, catching shrimps and running are not his own choices. It seems that others are always choosing things for him. Of course, he will never ask questions like "what is my life for" He just did it.
I think this movie tells us a truth: too many choices will mislead you. Facing our lives, we should get ready. It is because "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get".
