The instant I said goodbye to my host family, I had an impulse to write something. Before I met my host family, I felt a little embarrassment for we were strictly demanded to be dressed formally, which seemed that we were not equal to the host family and just like orphans needed to be fostered.
All these prejudice disappeared when I had an acquaintance with my host family. Uncle chan was so amiable that I took on him at my first sight of him. Except for the basic self-introduction, he was considerate to ask us some detailed questions, such as which kind of food and fruit we liked, whether our hometown was a big city or small town. Previously, He was the host family for four students. Due to the absence of the host family for group two, he took care of the four students in group two. It was really an arduous task compared with other host families who only needed to look after two students. However, he remembered the names of us all. I felt that he opened his mind to us and exerted himself to understand us.
After the lunch, he drove us to marina barrage; a splendid dam separated the sea water from fresh water. Besides the charming scenery, I was arrested by the sustainable museum, a dreamlike museum where alarmed us to save water.
At last, we met aunty lai pheng, uncle bai and aunty sha, the host family for group two. They did not divide group two and seven and just took all of us as their children. Fortunately, I received two host families.
I wanted to share my happiness with all of you genuinely.
