Our honeymoon

Before we started our bridging course, all the seniors and tutors said the coming six or seven months would be our honeymoon. At first, I thought we will have a happy life without any anxieties. However, the beginning is not what I imagined after a week of studying. But among the busy studying days, I actually found a honeymoon period with many people.
To get a good preparation for the next day, most of us looked up new words which appeared in the Supplementary Materials. It often cost me several hours but I still could not keep them in my mind. To remember more words, I had to get up before 6:20 am to review the words I looked up last night. It made me sleepy on my way to NUS on the bus as a result. The beginning of the so-called honeymoon was not so honey.
Besides the preparation, in the first week, we needed to practice dancing for the Talentime, which cost the members of our group and our befrienders much time. We had to practice the dance Kaixian taught us again and again. Although it was tiring, we still enjoyed the course. On the night of Talentime, we tried our best to show our dance to the acme of perfection. To our relief, we won our audience successfully and they gave us a big applause. What made us exhilarating at the end was that our dance won the first prize that night! Then we felt all the time we spent for the dance deserved the reward. We members of group 2 took a lot of photos and videos with our befrienders with a big “candy”. It would be one of my most precious memories. I would value the deep friendship we made with our befrienders.
After these activities, I continued my course, the days here was colorful. Every day in the class, I could get much information about various aspects of the world from our tutors. They were very accommodating to answer our confusion.
As what I said before, it is just a beginning. Honeymoon will go on and I will treasure it.
